Ashland is located 19 miles north of Richmond, Virginia, and 85 miles south of Washington, D.C. on Interstate 95. Take the Route 54 West exit. Go 1.3 miles west to historic Ashland. The Henry Clay Inn is located across the street from Randolph Macon College and adjacent to the Ashland/Hanover Visitor Information Center located in the historic Ashland train station. Amtrak service is available.
